Understanding the RECON Protocol and the Luminari

Entry 001: The Foundations of the War

The Multiverse and the Eternal Balance

The cosmos is a vast tapestry of infinite realms, each one a knot in the grand weave of existence.

At its luminous heart lies Elysara, a realm of pure, unbound consciousness. Here dwell the Luminari — beings of radiant energy whose forms shift like auroras across a perpetual twilight sky.

They do not walk; they flow. They do not speak; they commune. For eons the Luminari have served as guardians of the multiverse, maintaining the delicate balance that prevents any single realm from consuming all others.

The Threat from Vorath

From the opposite side of reality emerges Vorath, a mirror realm twisted by decay and malice. A wasteland of jagged obsidian peaks and writhing shadows, Vorath is home to the Void Lords — amorphous entities born of chaos that feed on despair, fear, and division.

Led by the devouring vortex Lord Malachar and his lieutenant Vexara, they seek to expand their domain by tearing open dimensional rifts and pulling other worlds into their endless night. Earth, with its teeming billions and untapped potential, has become their greatest prize.

The RECON Protocol

Unable to intervene directly without shattering their own laws, the Luminari created the RECON (Reincarnation through Consciousness) protocol — their final, desperate measure.

Six chosen Luminari essences are placed into specially prepared human vessels on Earth. Each receives a Resonance Pendant — a crystal shard salvaged from previous failed Recon missions. Tuned to one essence and one color, these pendants grant unique powers and serve as both weapon and anchor.

The Resonance Pendants

  • Golden – Strength, leadership, and anchoring force
  • Azure – Technology, sealing, and stabilization
  • Silver – Calculation, analysis, and precision
  • Emerald – Healing, reinforcement, and unity
  • Crimson – Truth, direct force, and cutting power
  • Violet – Foresight, vision, and warning

When the six stand together, their lights can merge into a single, unstoppable beam capable of sealing even the most powerful rifts.

The Rifts and the War

The Void Lords infiltrate Earth through subtle tears in the dimensional veil. Small rifts allow shadow creatures to slip through. Major nexuses allow full Void Lord manifestation.

The Luminari’s mission is clear: locate and close every rift before Malachar can fully cross into our world. Only one rule governs the mission: only one team member can ever return via the bio-forges in the RECON chamber. Death on Earth is not the end — but second chances are strictly limited.

The Circle

At the heart of every Recon lies the circle — the unbreakable bond between the six. It is more than tactics or power. It is trust forged through sacrifice, shared memory, and the merging of their lights.

When the circle holds, they are unstoppable. When it cracks, the multiverse itself trembles. This is the eternal war of The RECON Cycle — a conflict that spans lifetimes, realms, and the fragile line between human and immortal.

Writing Book 6 in Warlords

Wow, I’m feelin’ my groove. It feels great to be writing in the Warlords series. It always seems to flow so naturally in these books. At times it feels as if I’ve already written the thing.

The characters are all returning, Race Jennings and his antics. Poor Race, he’s always getting teased, but he makes it easy for them too. Now, after traveling to the Realm in book 5, he’s taken on Antarian traits with Danielle, who carries the Bron Vis’Ka. Now both are more Antarian than human. Ruki Grey’con and Darnash join up with them to Return to Revein’sev in an effort to save the little alien squirrel that hijacked her way with them when they returned to Earth. Now, the creature is taken ill and the team decide that Chipper must be returned to the Realm to save the creature’s life. Meanwhile, Admiral Jedidiah Fitz commands the fleet and is in search of the Formal Admiral Gilmore, who opposes Jed in helping the Antarians.

The Antarian’s desire as Warlords has been taken away by the blood spirit, Bron Vis’Ka, which was written in the ancient Antarian Blood Scroll. But now that the Kron’Shulooka has been removed, they face total inhalation as they refuse to fight, even to save themselves.

Stay Tuned for more tidbits as I spin this latest tale. Oh, yes, and there will be plenty of dragons and dragon blood spirit within…
