Findaway Voice passes QA test for the first Pirates audio

Oh happy day, the email said. That’s right, I just received an email from Findaway Voices telling me that Pirates of the Galactic Empire: (Act 1) Roadmap to Paradise, passed the quality assurance tests and is being prepared for distribution…

This means that in a few more hours, I will officially become a Spotify#author.

These are some of the most exciting times, let me tell ya’.

I’ve already begun work on Act 2: Gone Rogue and am forecasting completion around Spring time (mid to late March).

I’ll post the Spotify link as soon as it becomes available.

In the mean time, please feel free to enjoy some eye candy and be sure to scroll down to listen to all the samples in Act 1: Roadmap to Paradise.

Author History Made already in 2023

Well, to start off this 2023 new year, I have made author history over up in here…

That’s right, I clicked the submit button this morning on Findaway Voices and my very first self published, narrated & produced, audio book.

Pirates of the Galactic Empire: Roadmap to Paradise is coming to Spotify & Author Direct very soon.

They say it could take up to 30 days to approve and publish, but, I’ve heard Findaway Voices are much faster.

This audio book turned out absolutely fantastic and is chalk full of background music, special effects and unique voices for the main characters.

This was challenging, yet rewarding. I have discovered a hidden talent and thanks to all the support and encouragement from my wife, Diana, to give me the courage to try, this has become a reality.

The end result will be very rewarding. But, I need all your help getting the word out.

Check out the samples in my blog for a taste of what’s coming. There will be 65 different outlets and libraries this is published on, including Audible. However, ACX could take a bit longer as I’m waiting for the old version to be removed , which could be any day now.

I’ll keep you all informed when this is out. Until then, it’s off to start Act 2: Gone Rogue…

Pirates Trilogy to be produced by yours truly…

That’s right. My last narrator is unable to continue with this project due to life issues. Hey, I know all about life issues. Indeed, I do.

So, what do I do about Pirates, then? I’ll tell you, what I’m gonna do. With major encouragement from my wife, Diana, I decided to produce the Pirates Trilogy, myself.

That being said. I have already completed the Prologue, so for your listening enjoyment and visual candy of what’s coming, turn up your sound and have a listen…

Short sample in Return to Revein’sev

Here’s a short four-hundred word sample from book 6 in the Warlords Series, “Return to Revein’sev.”

Stay tuned as this will be wrapping up in a few short weeks.

Three distinct wisps of dark fog formed. The wind intensified before the face of E’nor’Ta formed in the wind, “I am more powerful than you!” the ghostly apparition echoed across the rocky hills of Bragora.

“I will not let you have my staff,” Race protested, then yanked the staff and twirled it around his head before planted the base firmly to the ground.

A wave of power dispersed across the ground, flowing outward causing the forming face to deform and blow apart in the wind.

The form of Dumakas on one side and Tumaleka on the other, the wisps of their Ela’voo continued reaching with wisps gasping for Race’s staff. The wisps faded and the winds died down as the power wave carried the Ela’voo along with the energy.

Race lifted the staff base from the ground and turned to Danielle and Dumakas, “We don’t have much time. They’ll be back in a few ma’na’ta.”

“Right you are, Race,” Darnash agreed, “Down this path we must go.”

“The cave that leads to the mirror is way up above the Shabe’Tu,” Danielle said as she ran with Race and Darnash.

“You road the beast the last time, my Queen,” Darnash pointed upward as they rounded the path’s corner. “This will be a difficult climb to complete in a few ma’na’ta.”

“I don’t think I can awaken the dragon creature until I have the sword!”

Danielle then skidded to a halt before Darnash and Race saw what she saw.

Over the hill, a large dragon’s head rose from its resting place. Puffs of smoke smoldered from its nostrils as the beast awakened. The creature licked its tongue and smacked moisture across its dry lips as its eyes opened, displaying the beast’s vertical slitted pupils.

“Oh man!” Race exclaimed as he instinctively held the soft glowing staff horizontally out in front of him.
Each end of the staff began displaying a shower of sparks. Then he began stepping closer to the creature.

Danielle came to his side and held a hand on his shoulder, “Be careful, Race.”

“I think we’ll be fine,” Race said, taking another step closer to the creature.

“My Bron Vis’Ka spoke to the creature the last time. I don’t know if the Shabe’Tu will listen to my voice again.”

“Well, you were able to speak to it before. Maybe I can speak to it this time with the help of Gor’con’s staff.”
