Writing Book 6 in Warlords

Wow, I’m feelin’ my groove. It feels great to be writing in the Warlords series. It always seems to flow so naturally in these books. At times it feels as if I’ve already written the thing.

The characters are all returning, Race Jennings and his antics. Poor Race, he’s always getting teased, but he makes it easy for them too. Now, after traveling to the Realm in book 5, he’s taken on Antarian traits with Danielle, who carries the Bron Vis’Ka. Now both are more Antarian than human. Ruki Grey’con and Darnash join up with them to Return to Revein’sev in an effort to save the little alien squirrel that hijacked her way with them when they returned to Earth. Now, the creature is taken ill and the team decide that Chipper must be returned to the Realm to save the creature’s life. Meanwhile, Admiral Jedidiah Fitz commands the fleet and is in search of the Formal Admiral Gilmore, who opposes Jed in helping the Antarians.

The Antarian’s desire as Warlords has been taken away by the blood spirit, Bron Vis’Ka, which was written in the ancient Antarian Blood Scroll. But now that the Kron’Shulooka has been removed, they face total inhalation as they refuse to fight, even to save themselves.

Stay Tuned for more tidbits as I spin this latest tale. Oh, yes, and there will be plenty of dragons and dragon blood spirit within…

Gratitude is a must

Have you ever wondered why things just don’t go the way you think they should go? I often think about this. I have to admit, there are times where I beat myself up and start with negative thinking. We’re human and, at times, we’re our own worst enemy.

Take time to think about the positive side of things. There are things to find, you just have to reflect and they will come into view. Think about them and take a moment to be grateful.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. We celebrate this day to be thankful. I had a friend ask, why do we celebrate being thankful this day, when we should be thankful for everyday.

In more posts coming, I’m going to talk about my journey with living with an illness that goes undiagnosed for years. I’m talking about my neurological struggles, which are cause for feeling depressed and negative. Now, I’m a fairly upbeat and positive fellow. But I have my moments, believe me. There are good days and not so good days. I am choosing to focus on the good and be grateful for those days that are.

I will reach out here on those not so good days. I’ll ask to be lifted up though those rough times as I will do the same for anyone else struggling. Together, with a grateful heart, we can succeed in all things.

For now, I am grateful for this day. I’m breathing. I’m writing. I’m contributing.

This week, I started this 6th Warlords book. I’ve been plotting this for nearly a year after book 5 was released and I’ve got a ton of cool stuff planned.

Had an Epiphany Yesterday

I had an epiphany on this book yesterday and have been trying various things, but this. This is absolutely IT, I believe.

Neither cyborg or the tenticled creatures were depicted and the story is all about those.

So, I found a squid picture and with a little magic using GIMP 2.10, I managed to bring these two features together.

This fits the story very well!
I need your opinions on it. What do y’all think?
