Well, here it is. The preorder is now available via @Amazon. I’ve set the release date for Oct. 22nd, just in time for the holiday season 🙂
I actually wrote this one in 10 weeks. It was done pretty fast, as the universe gave me a huge download on how this one should go.
Whew, and what a ride this is. Not only was this written so quickly, the title says a lot about how fast-paced this one really is. It’s a hang by your fingernails experience that you’ll not want to miss. Or as an old bumper sticker use to say, ‘Get in. Sit down. Shut up, and hold on!’
I’m tellin’ ya’, it’s an awesome mind-bending ride, that’s for sure.
So, be sure to click the link to the preorder and get ready to be awed.
Here’s a short excerpt that will get you hooked:
The flood of colored ones and zeros that made up the conduit, pulsated brightly. The images of Tucker and his crew, slightly formed, as they traversed the corridor. The halo image of Maggie followed close behind. Her eyes turning from green to red with anger as the seeker subroutines took her over.
“She’s gaining on us, Tucker!” Cassie shouted.
“We can’t let them connect with us,” Doctor Rhodes reminded.
“We’re almost out of the conduit,” Tucker indicated with a head nod. “Once we exit and we see the program section for Charlie, take my lead.”
“Are we doing the flying bikes?” Doctor Rhodes asked.
“Yeah, and everyone should remember how we do that.”
Exiting the corridor, they saw the Charlie-reality grid beginning to form shapes of sky, ground, and clouds. It also formed the waters of Puget Sound.
Tucker gunned his newly formed cycle and took off. Doctor Rhodes popped his bike in gear. He quickly took off after Tucker. Gus, Cassie, Sergeant Samuels, and Samantha, formed their speeder bikes and flew through the air after Tucker and the doctor.
Each formed a helmet and gloves as they caught up with Tucker. Looking behind him revealed the image of Maggie. Her figure changed into various colored data patterns of ones and zeros. The swirling data patterns split apart and formed into several black figures with their own flying bikes. She was no longer recognizable as Maggie.
Samuels yelped as he looked over at Tucker, “Vanguard Seekers!”
Tucker glanced behind himself. He saw the black figures now forming armor plating as they chased his team. “Well, it’s not Maggie, anymore!
They split apart and formed a Vanguard attack force!”
